Canadore is offering an integrated collaborative nursing program leading to a BScN awarded by partnering institution, Nipissing University. The curriculum is devised to equip graduates to meet the present and future needs of health care. Graduates will be eligible to write the nurse registration examination, where upon successful completion can apply for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.In addition to the required natural and social science courses, this program offers students a broad nursing curriculum with emphasis on providing extensive and varied clinical experience. Students will develop skills in critical-thinking, self-directed learning, effective interpersonal communication, information technology, leadership and management. The collaborative program offers students a unique and innovative way of learning that incorporates the best of both the College and University experience.
