Learn how to deliver the maximum quality care that is evidence-based to improve your patients' outcomes. Subjects include dealing with diverse communities, mental health, health and surgical nursing and palliative care. You might decide to work in emergency condition, mental wellbeing, longterm care, inter cultural health or public wellbeing. As part of your degree, you will complete at least 800 hours of clinical placement. These placements happen in a variety of health settings around Victoria.

Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC); Australian Medical Professional Registration Authority (AHPRA); Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). Candidates of this Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) accredited program will meet all educational requirements required to be eligible to apply for enrollment as a Registered Nurse with the Australian physician Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  • Successful completion of Australian Year 12 or overseas equivalent together with just one final year course in either Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Chemistry or Physics. Academic IELTS with an general score of 7.0
  • without band less than 7.0equivalent. Please note: meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee entry since places are limited. Towards the close of your degree you may apply for professional recognition to work as a nurse in Australia. You have to prove you satisfy up with the English language skills as determined by the NMBA.
