Ranked top 100 in the world for Nursing, this course prepares pupils for eligibility to submit an application for enrollment during Australia as a registered nurse. The focus of the course is on inquiry-based instruction, critical thinking and reflective practice in relation to the theory and practice of nursing in health and health breakdown across the lifespan. Employing a primary health care framework students study application of behavioural and physical sciences to nursing; inquiry and evidence-based exercise fundamentals and utilisation within nursing; nursing care of individuals, groups and families from diverse backgrounds all over the lifespan. The course involves campus-based mimicked clinical practice settings and consolidation does occur since students undertake clinical placements in various health care settings.

This course has Certification and approval from the Nurses and Midwifery Board NSW. By 1 July 2010 the endorsement, recognition and accreditation of courses was transferred into the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMAC). Course accreditation can be assessed on their website.
