Welcome to the Oboe Programme at Giuseppe Verdi Institute of Music Studies

The Oboe Programme at Giuseppe Verdi Institute of Music Studies is designed to provide students with the highest quality of instruction in the art of oboe playing. Our experienced faculty will guide you through the fundamentals of oboe playing, from basic technique to advanced performance. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes instruction in music theory, ear training, sight-reading, and improvisation. Our faculty will also provide guidance in the selection of reeds, maintenance of the instrument, and the development of a personal practice routine.

In addition to our core curriculum, we offer a variety of performance opportunities, including solo recitals, chamber music, and orchestral performances. Our students have the opportunity to perform in masterclasses with renowned oboists, as well as participate in competitions and festivals. We also offer a variety of ensembles, including a wind ensemble, a jazz ensemble, and a contemporary music ensemble.

Requirements for Oboe Programme at Giuseppe Verdi Institute of Music Studies

Are you interested in studying the oboe at the Giuseppe Verdi Institute of Music Studies? We are excited to have you join us! Here are the requirements for admission to our Oboe Programme:
