In order to be accepted into the Oboe Programme, applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to the instrument and a high level of technical proficiency. All applicants must have a minimum of two years of private oboe instruction and must be able to demonstrate a mastery of the fundamentals of oboe playing. Additionally, applicants must be able to read music and have a basic understanding of music theory.
