The Conservatory of Music Nino Rota offers a comprehensive oboe programme for prospective students. Our programme is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful oboists. We are delighted that you are considering joining our Oboe Programme at the Conservatory of Music Nino Rota. Our programme is designed to provide students with the highest quality of musical education and performance opportunities.

In order to be accepted into the Oboe Programme, applicants must demonstrate a high level of musical proficiency. This includes a strong knowledge of music theory, sight-reading, and aural skills. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate a strong technical proficiency on the oboe, including the ability to play scales, arpeggios, and other technical exercises.

We also require applicants to have a minimum of two years of private oboe instruction, or equivalent experience. This experience should include a variety of repertoire, including classical, jazz, and contemporary music.
