Requirements for Percussion Instruments Programme at Niccolo Piccinni Conservatory

• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience playing percussion instruments.
• Applicants must demonstrate a strong knowledge of music theory and sight-reading.
• Applicants must have a good understanding of the history of percussion instruments.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in at least two percussion instruments.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in at least one orchestral percussion instrument.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in at least one non-orchestral percussion instrument.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in at least one world percussion instrument.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in at least one electronic percussion instrument.
