Petroleum Engineering

This app was created for graduates of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or equivalent in a field besides petroleum technology. It's suited to students who would like to get a petroleum engineering qualification and input the upstream (exploration and production) part of this petroleum industry. It's also aimed toward petro-technical professionals already working in the petroleum industry who would like to improve their technical careers in petroleum technology by achieving a formal qualification. Individuals that have a relevant Bachelor degree (Honours) having a strong science and math component (like geology, geophysics, geosciences, physics and applied math or similar) could obtain entrance in to this system. Individuals with a Bachelor degree and suitable upstream oil and gas experience may have their prior academic and professional expertise examined to be equivalent to an honours degree qualification and, in these circumstances, could also obtain entrance in to this program.

• Individuals that have a Bachelor degree with suitable upstream petroleum and gas experience could have their prior professional and academic experience assessed to be equivalent to an honours degree eligibility and at such cases may also obtain entry into this system.
