There's also the option to perform a research study.

Graduates of the Master of Professional Archaeology may be eligible to apply for registration with Aboriginal Victoria as a Heritage Advisor. Professional registration could be subject to additional or continuing conditions beyond finishing their education. Please contact the relevant body to get details.

  • The minimum entrance requirement of a Masters Degree works completion of an Australian Bachelor degree (or its equivalent)
  • Ahead learning developed by relevant work experience or professional accreditation, where it is deemed to be equivalent to that obtained through a Bachelor level, may be considered. In making an offer to an applicant, the University can pay attention to a range of factors to ascertain whether an applicant has demonstrated the capacity to work at a Masters level, including academic record, English competence, or job experience
  • NB: Fulfilling minimal prerequisites does not guarantee an offer of a place. Entry in to all La Trobe courses is based on competitive selection and there may be limited places available.
