This APAC accredited fourth-year Psychology program reaches a balance between overall professional, special practitioner, and research related capabilities. This program accomplishes a balance between overall professional, special practitioner, and research related capacities. This program consists of extensive, specialist study in both professional psychology and mental research. In accord with professional notion that the very initial four years of emotional training should be overall (rather than specialised), the Graduate Diploma is targeted on generalist professional psychology abilities. You can plan, implement and report on a Research Project under supervision, in addition to project a number of core classes (Emotional practice, Psychological research, Psychological Research at Practice, Emotional Assessment).

This application is an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited fourth-year program. Successful completion will allow students to make an application for Associate Membership of the APS, as well as the opportunity to experience supervised practice like a provisional psychologist with a view to enrolling as a psychologist in Australia.

Completion in the previous ten years of an APAC-accredited three year sequence in psychology and qualified to get an APAC-accredited undergraduate level. A minimum grade point average of 5.0 (Credit) is required. GPA is calculated using ALL attempts (successful and unsuccessful) at third and second year psychology courses only. To get FedUni students, all PSYCB2000 and PSYCB3000 courses will probably likely be included in the GPA calculation.
