Requirements for Quantitative and Computational Biology Programme at University of Trento

The Quantitative and Computational Biology programme at University of Trento is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to understand and apply quantitative and computational methods to biological problems. To be eligible for admission to the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, mathematics, computer science, or engineering.
  • A minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Proficiency in English, as demonstrated by a TOEFL score of at least 90 or an IELTS score of at least 6.5.
  • Proficiency in mathematics, as demonstrated by a score of at least 70 on the GRE Quantitative Reasoning Test.
  • Proficiency in programming, as demonstrated by a score of at least 70 on the GRE Computer Science Test.

Applicants who do not meet the above requirements may be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis.
