The Recorder Programme at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia is designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the recorder and its repertoire. Requirements for the Recorder Programme at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia

The National Academy of Santa Cecilia offers a comprehensive recorder programme for prospective students. To be eligible for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Have a minimum of two years of prior musical experience.
• Be able to read music notation.
• Be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of music theory.
• Be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of recorder technique.
• Be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of musical styles and genres.
