Salon Assistant

This is a preparatory qualification which gives a defined and limited selection of basic knowledge and skills employed in hairdressing salons by those who provide assistance with services. These routine and repetitive activities are done under direct oversight with guidance from hairdressers who manage the client service.The combined knowledge and skills do not offer a job outcome as a hair dresser which qualification is designed to prepare individuals for further training.No occupational licensing, certification or special legislative requirements affect this qualification at the time of publication.
