You will delve into the language of Cervantes, Lorca, Garcia Marquez and Almodovar and explore one of the worldпПХs most widely spoken languages.Starting from the four basic language skills пПС speaking, listening, reading and writing пПС our programs integrate innovative approaches to the study of Spanish and expose students to a diversity of related aspects such as language, translation, culture and literature.You'll explore how Spanish and Spanish-American literature both reflect and shape society. YouпПХll cover all major areas of Hispanic literature and acquire critical approaches to analyzing literary texts, as well as secondary materials and research literature. All these skills enhance your ability to read, understand, enjoy and appraise written Spanish.
