This programme allows to study in depth the basic fundamentals of Materials Engineering. It allows the students to attain a profound knowledge of its applications in industrial processes and in technologies of the transport, energy and health sector. The capacity of innovation that results in research and development of new materials and products is especially emphasized. Moreover, this programme offers students emerging from engineering degrees and degrees from the universities Carlos III and Rey Juan Carlos, as well as from other Spanish or foreign universities, the possibility to complete their education through an attractive postgraduate course adapted to the European agreements concerning higher education.
