Through USQ’s joint delivery dual award program, you will graduate from your degree with two qualifications – a Diploma of Events from TAFE and a Bachelor of Business (Tourism and Events Management).
You will first complete a relevant Diploma from TAFE or an equivalent accredited body, and then apply directly to USQ to complete your second and third year with your Bachelor of Business courses.
Why Tourism and Events Management?
Tourism and events are becoming intrinsically linked. With events such as music festivals, cultural celebrations, sporting events attracting millions of tourists each year, it is a great time to be a professional with training in both these areas.
With your major in Tourism you’ll gain the expertise to work in the tourism industry anywhere in the world with specialist knowledge in sustainable tourism and cultural tourism. Pair that with Events Management, and you will have the skills and expertise to conduct festivals and events for the tourism industry.
