The job of Tourism (Ecotourism) caters for all those students who have an enthusiastic interest in environmentally sustainable and culturally responsible types of tourism. The Ecotourism specialisation has two key foci. These include having a thorough knowledge of a few of Australia's most common natural landscapes and acquiring the skills necessary to create, plan and deliver inspirational, memorable and engaging adventures for individuals of these natural areas through well-developed translation skills. Experiential established kinds of instruction are a key quality of the specialisation and permit students to apply the information and skills they have developed through the duration of their studies. An important component of learning over the Ecotourism level takes place beyond the classroom. Many areas provide students the ability to engage with the tourism industry with all field trips to many of Victoria's most critical nature based tourism destinations like the Grampians and Wilsons Promontory in addition to week long analysis trips to Kangaroo Island in South Australia and Central Australia. Students experience notion in training and learn directly from owners, managers, specialists and experts in the area.
