The Master of Urban and Regional Planning is a one and a half year Program. The very first year of this class introduces students to planning theory and practice, law and urban design. Additionally, it introduces students to property development processes, the functions and ethical methods of both private and government sector planning and also the complex task of developing and implementing integrated plans that reflect state and local needs and interests. Finally, students develop research skills that they implement in the 2nd year of the class when they tackle an original research study.

This class fulfills the academic requirements for corporate membership together with the Planning Institute of Australia.
