Requirements for Violin Programme at Claudio Monteverdi Institute of Music Studies

The Claudio Monteverdi Institute of Music Studies offers a comprehensive Violin Programme for prospective students. To be eligible for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 5 in Violin from a recognised music board.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 5 in Music Theory from a recognised music board.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 5 in Aural from a recognised music board.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 5 in Sight-reading from a recognised music board.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 5 in Performance from a recognised music board.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 5 in Music History from a recognised music board.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 5 in Music Analysis from a recognised music board.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 5 in Music Technology from a recognised music board.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 5 in Music Composition from a recognised music board.
