In order to be accepted into the Violin Programme, applicants must demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency and musical understanding. All applicants must have a minimum of two years of private instruction on the violin, and must be able to demonstrate a mastery of the fundamentals of violin technique. Additionally, applicants must be able to read music and have a basic understanding of music theory.
