Welcome to the Violin Programme at the Institute of Music Studies of P.I. Tchaikovsky

The Institute of Music Studies of P.I. Tchaikovsky offers a comprehensive Violin Programme for aspiring musicians. Requirements for the Violin Programme at the Institute of Music Studies of P.I. Tchaikovsky

The Institute of Music Studies of P.I. Tchaikovsky offers a comprehensive Violin Programme for prospective students. To be eligible for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must have completed at least 8 years of formal music education.
• Applicants must have a minimum grade of 8 in their final music exam.
• Applicants must have a minimum grade of 8 in their final violin exam.
• Applicants must have a minimum grade of 8 in their final theory exam.
• Applicants must have a minimum grade of 8 in their final sight-reading exam.
• Applicants must have a minimum grade of 8 in their final aural skills exam.
• Applicants must have a minimum grade of 8 in their final improvisation exam.
• Applicants must have a minimum grade of 8 in their final composition exam.

In addition to the above requirements, applicants must also submit a portfolio of their work, including recordings of their performances, compositions, and improvisations.
