It is possible to complete a licentiate and a doctoral degree at the University as a third-cycle degree. After graduating with a master’s degree, you will have the option to apply for doctoral studies in music and specialize in research-oriented, artistic or applied doctoral studies. 

Graduates with a brass instruments major know the essential repertoire, styles, techniques, and interpretations of their respective instrument. They work as soloists or a versatile chamber and orchestra musicians and have acquired at least the basic pedagogical competence. Graduates will be able to work as intermediaries between culture and other fields. Other career opportunities include, for example, research, administrative duties, media, and entrepreneurship in music.
