The ANU School of Music, College of Arts & Social Sciences may offer an award known as the School of Music Entry Scholarship ("the award").
The objective of the awards is to encourage new enrolments of students who demonstrate high level skills in the understanding, interpretation and execution of solo and ensemble performance. Students may elect to specialise in a classical, jazz or contemporary style.
Funding for this award has been provided by the Australian Capital Territory Government's arts agency, artsACT, under the Advanced Music Performance Program established in 2018.
$5,000 per annum
The award is available each year to a prospective ANU student who: (a) is a domestic or international student. (b) is enrolling in the first year of an undergraduate coursework program in the ANU School of Music; (c) is majoring/specialising in music performance; (d) has received a final selection mark in audition of 70 or above.
