The Emory College Department of Music, in conjunction with the Emory Office of Admission, awards merit scholarships each year to incoming first-year students who show exceptional promise in their applied areas of music. To be considered for these scholarships, applicants must demonstrate outstanding achievement in both academics and musical accomplishment, and they must audition for the scholarship. Scholarships range from full tuition and fees to half tuition.
Finalists for the Dean’s Music Scholarship are also considered for and may be offered a Robert W. Woodruff "Music" Scholarship, which covers full tuition, fees, and on-campus room and board. Woodruff "Music" Scholars participate in the full range of programming available to other Woodruff Scholars.
