The highly competitive Dean’s Achievement Scholarship (DAS) selection process allows rising sophomores in Emory College and Oxford College to apply for a variety of merit scholarship awards, including the Robert W. Woodruff Dean’s Achievement Scholarship.
Emory and Oxford Colleges award multiple Dean’s Achievement Scholarships of varying amounts and durations, ranging from one-time awards of a few thousand dollars up to renewable awards that cover full tuition and fees.
One Oxford College student and up to three Emory College students will be awarded Robert W. Woodruff Dean’s Achievement Scholarships. The Woodruff Dean's Achievement Scholarship provides full tuition, fees, and on-campus room and board for up to five semesters of undergraduate study. Woodruff Dean's Achievement Scholars also have access to additional benefits offered through the Emory College Woodruff Scholars Program, such as priority registration, summer enrichment funding, and the opportunity to participate in specialized professional development activities.

To be eligible to apply to for the Woodruff DAS and other Dean’s Achievement Scholarships, students must:have been enrolled full-time as a first-year student in Emory or Oxford College in fall and spring,enroll full-time in Emory or Oxford College in fall, andhave a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75 after the spring semester, andhave made extraordinary contributions to the academic, intellectual, and extracurricular life of the Emory community.
