Recipients of this scholarship are required to be enrolled full time at AUT during the tenure of the scholarship.

The award of this scholarship is conditional on the student gaining entry to an AUT programme (duration of at least 120 points, except for Study Abroad and GIE programmes).

Scholarship applicants must be full-fee paying international students, i.e., not citizens, permanent residents or resident visa holders of New Zealand or Australia; or they are in the process of applying for the aforementioned categories. They must have a current and valid conditional or unconditional offer to study an AUT programme (Bachelors level or above, excluding doctoral and at least 120 points). They should have an equivalent GPA of 6.0 out of 9.0 (B+ average) or above in their most recent qualification/programme.

Scholarships will be awarded on academic merit. Returning AUT students (i.e. students who have already commenced study at AUT (excluding AUT International House GIE English pathway programmes) will not be considered. Selection will be based on demonstrated academic excellence. The country of origin of the applicant may be considered by the selection committee to align with AUT’s strategic aims. Applicants who have declared other forms of scholarships both internally (awarded by AUT) and externally (e.g. government scholarships) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
