The University of Canterbury is inviting students who wish to undertake eligible Masters and PhD programmes in the School of Forestry at the University, to apply for the Owen Browning Scholarships in Forestry.

A scholarship shall be tenable initially for 1 year in the case of a scholar studying for the Master of Forestry Science degree, for 1 year in the case of a scholar studying for the MSc degree in Environmental Science, and for 2 years in the case of a scholar studying for the PhD degree in Forestry or Forestry Engineering. It is possible that the scholarship can be extended for a further year, on the recommendation of the Academic Board.
