The scholarships cover full tuition fees as well as tax-free living expenses of £13,863 per year (estimated ESRC rate for-15

Scholarship applications will be evaluated on the basis of former qualifications, academic background, references and research proposal.
Students who want to be considered must hold an offer for a full-time PhD at Nottingham University Business School, by 11th April 12 mid-day (UK time) at the latest. Students are advised to submit a completed application by 28th February, including all required supporting documentation.
There is no additional scholarship application form to be completed, however applications for these Scholarships will be disregarded unless you have indicated, in the personal details section of the application form, where it asks ‘how do you expect to pay for your studies’ that you wish to be considered, i.e. you need to state ‘NUBS Scholarship applicant’.
