Teamwork is a central focus of Clarksons One-Year AACSB accredited MBA program. We emphasize the development of effective communication skills, including oral, written and multimedia methods. The core courses use cases, behavioral role playing, and simulation gaming as teaching methods. Several hands-on projects, consulting projects, and global business program opportunities provide application of theory to real business situations.
The One-Year Accounting MBA is a 38 credit-hour program. All students are required to take ten (two credit hours each) MBA modules with a required experiential course (three credit hours). You also have the option to specialize in your chosen field by completing one of our Advanced Certificate Programs, recognized by New York state for academic rigor and leadership development:

Scholarships
Merit Based Tuition Discounts
The Clarkson University MBA Program awards scholarships on a merit basis, in the form of tuition discounts. Every applicant is evaluated individually for scholarship money at the time of acceptance, and is not required to complete any additional scholarship application. Awards are primarily based on a students cumulative GPA, GMAT or GRE scores, letters of recommendation, and resume. Based on these credentials, an appropriate scholarship amount will be awarded. There is no limit to the number of scholarships that can be awarded in an academic year. For the class of 2013, scholarships ranged in amount from 9-65% off tuition.

Leadership Scholarship
This scholarship opportunity is reserved for exceptional students with an undergraduate degree from a partnering institution with an active 4+1 articulation agreement with Clarkson Universitys MBA program. To apply, students will be required to submit a 1-page essay describing why they feel they are a good candidate to receive this award.

Clarkson Women in Business Scholarship
This scholarship opportunity is sponsored by Clarkson Women in Business (CWiB) and is reserved for an exceptional female student. Clarkson Women in Business is a professional organization associated with the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA), providing educational and empowerment opportunities for Clarkson Universitys MBA students, in support of women in business. To apply, students will be required to submit a 1-page essay describing why they feel they are a good candidate to receive this award.
Application: 1 page essay.
Crane Company Scholarship
This scholarship opportunity has been established through generous funding by Crane Company and their foundation, The Crane Fund for Widows and Children for enrolled domestic or international MBA students. This opportunity is reserved for MBA students who have an interest in pursuing the supply chain management track, an undergraduate grade point average of 3.00 or higher (i.e., last 60 credit hours of their undergraduate education at the time of acceptance/enrollment), and who have demonstrated leadership and accomplishments in undergraduate co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. To apply, students will need to write a 1-page essay describing in full detail why they are interested in the field of Supply Chain Management; what their career goals are in this area; and why they should be considered for this prestigious scholarship.

J. Ronald Frazier '45 Endowed Scholarship
This fellowship will be based on financial need or an incoming student who is in good academic standing within their respected university. Students who are enrolled in their university's School of Business and who wish to pursue a career in Supply Chain Management will be considered for this fellowship. If no students meet the requirements of this fellowship, the fellowship May be used for other students in good academic standing with financial need.
