The School is offering the following scholarships to full time PhD students for entry in October 2014:

• Up to four full-time PhD Scholarships open to all research areas.

Duration: Min:9 Max:48 months

These Scholarships cover full tuition fees as well as tax-free living expenses of £14,069 per year (estimated ESRC rate for 2014-15)

Requirements

Scholarships are available to Home/EU and overseas students.

Students who want to be considered must hold an offer for a full-time PhD at Nottingham University Business School, by 11th April 2014 12 mid-day (UK time) at the latest. We would therefore advise students to submit a completed application by 28th February 2014, including all required supporting documentation.

There is no additional scholarship application form to be completed, however applications for these Scholarships will be disregarded unless you have indicated, in the personal details section of the application form, where it asks 'how do you expect to pay for your studies' that you wish to be considered, i.e. you need to state 'NUBS Scholarship applicant'. School Scholarship applications will be evaluated on the basis of former qualifications, academic background, academic references and research proposal.
