Building on a solid foundation of biology and chemistry courses, our BSc students are introduced to biochemistry theory and laboratory skills in second year, with some specialization into areas of biochemistry and molecular biology in years three and four. Many of our 20 to 30 BSc students choose to do an honours project with hands-on laboratory research in fourth year. Other research opportunities exist for summer and co-op students.
