Our Dance Pianists Programme is designed to give you the skills and knowledge you need to become a successful dance pianist. You will learn how to read and interpret music, how to accompany dancers, and how to create your own accompaniments. You will also learn how to use technology to create and record accompaniments.

Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process of learning to play the piano and accompany dancers. You will have the opportunity to practice with professional dancers and learn from their experience. You will also have the chance to perform in front of an audience and gain valuable performance experience.

Requirements for Dance Pianists at La Scala Academy

Are you interested in becoming a dance pianist at La Scala Academy? We are looking for talented and passionate individuals who are dedicated to the art of music and dance. To be considered for our Dance Pianists programme, you must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of Grade 5 in Piano from a recognised music examination board.
• A minimum of Grade 5 in Music Theory from a recognised music examination board.
• A minimum of Grade 5 in Dance from a recognised dance examination board.
• A minimum of two years of experience in accompanying dance classes.
• A good understanding of musical styles and genres.
• Excellent sight-reading skills.
• Excellent improvisation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
