This qualification reflects professional bookkeeping project functions in financial services and other industries, including tax agents, accounts payable and accounts receivable officers, payroll providers, and employees performing a variety of bookkeeping tasks such as organisations in a range of industries. Individuals in those functions apply solutions to a range of often complex issues, and analyse and evaluate information from many different sources. They apply initiative to plan, coordinate and appraise their own work and provide guidance to others within specified guidelines.Licensing/Regulatory InformationWork works from the occupational areas at which this qualification could be used are subject to regulatory requirements. Refer to the FNS Financial Services Training Package Companion Volume Implementation Guide or the appropriate ruler for particular help with requirements.This qualification includes units that include a licensed Tax Practitioner Board (TPB) course in Australian taxation law and business law, which might be relevant for registration as a tax agent. Persons seeking registration with the TPB should assess current registration conditions with all the TPB, as registration requirements have been assessed regularly.
