The students studying in this second cycle program without thesis are required:

to take a minimum of 10 courses with a minimum of 30 local credits, and  one seminar and one term project (The project is non-credit and graded on a pass/fail basis.).

to succeed in all the courses with a letter grade of at least CC/S 

to have a Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.00/4.00 with a minimum of 90 ECTS credits.

In particular, the program welcomes established practitioners who are interested in deeper questions within their design practices and who want to pursue graduate education from the point of view of applied design research. Students who are interested in this program are:

• those holding a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Izmir University of Economics or from another university

• Those who are currently undergraduate students in Izmir University of Economics Architecture program and want to continue with a master’s degree within a combined system

• Those holding a different degree but will complete the scientific preparation program successfully and are found suitable after the academic interview.
