Course Content
Course work covers beef and dairy cattle, sheep, goats, swine, horses, companion animals and poultry, and the products they produce. Students choose a degree option.

Funding
Several scholarships are available to animal science majors who need financial assistance. Part-time work is frequently available in the department’s livestock units and laboratories and in Manhattan and the surrounding area.
