Le programme de baccalaureat en etudes anciennes vous permettra de mieux connaitre les sources greco-romaines et judeo-chretiennes de la civilisation occidentale et, par cette connaissance des racines de notre culture, de mieux comprendre le monde dans lequel nous vivons.Vous approfondirez les litteratures, l'histoire, l'archeologie, la philosophie, les langues et les sciences religieuses des civilisations antiques du bassin mediterraneen. A cette fin, vous apprendrez le grec ancien et le latin, et vous pourrez vous initier a d'autres langues anciennes (hebreu, sanskrit, copte, syriaque, ethiopien, egyptien hieroglyphique).
