In the Master Program the participant widens and deepens his/her knowledge in economics after having completed a Bachelor Program. The Master Program enables him/her to work scientifically and thereby forms the basis for contributions of his/her own to the subject. In addition it qualifies the student for a leading position by means of training such qualities as autonomy, a good sense of judgement and leadership. Apart from broadening the knowledge in economics the Master Program aims at promoting a specialization in the respective research programmes of the Faculty of Economics and Statistics. In the Master’s thesis the student applies the acquired theories and methods to a research issue of his/her choice.
