Applied Psychology

This professionally-accredited class adheres to a scientist-practitioner model that stresses a systematic problem approach. Its goal is to organize psychologists who are proficient in individual casework and could employ their skills and knowledge to prevention, research, creation, and evaluation at the individual, organisational and strategy levels. The class includes two decades of fulltime study or may be undertaken on a part-time basis within not more than eight decades. The class includes internship, practicum, and research components. Candidates will cover core and optional aspects within their own course, that will qualify them organisational founders at Master's degree level. Candidates tackle three approved placements. The University cooperates with the Commonwealth and State Public Services, like the Department of Health, Department of Consumer and Employment Protection, Department for Community Development, Department of Justice, Education Department of Western Australia, Disability Services Commission, WA Police Service and other public and private facilities and services from Western Australia. Experience in additional community emotional areas like rehabilitation and social service can be available. Candidates must complete four placements, three of which must be run in external private or public organisations.
