The Master of Applied Science (Research) presents students with an opportunity to undertake individual research in a specialised area together with expert supervision. This two-year full time class has two study routes, and students may opt to perform it via a mixture of thesis and coursework, or even thesis simply. Students will: Possess access to expert staff oversight in applied and wellbeing, including: individual anatomy, immunology, microbiology, toxicology, drug analysis, pharmacology, forensic science and neuro-muscular co-ordination; have access to environmental and resource science expertise in the fields of: plant and wildlife ecology, freshwater ecologyand conservation research, and wildlife genetics, and environmental chemistry, geomorphology, micro-meteorology, geographical information systems, and environmental and resource management; be delegated a supervisory panel and also primary manager to work like a mentor; and also receive support and skills development to plan and undertake research.
- To qualify for admission applicants must possess: A Honours degree in science (at H1 or H2A level) or the equivalent in a relevant specialist field
- Or a bachelor degree in science or applied science with above average execution
- Or a bachelor degree followed by a graduate degree in applied science
- Or an Honours degree in science at H2B or H3 degree and evidence of an aptitude for conducting research at the Masters level.
