The Master of Nursing Practice is a two year (4 semesters) and a summer term internship program leading to eligibility for enrollment as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. The course gives a comprehensive program of study between a wide array of simulated training and fieldwork, inter-professional learning, modern mixed learning and high level clinical skill development. The course emphasises the close integration of evidence based clinical and theory exercise. Theory content is more comprehensive and includes the physical, biological, psychological and social sciences.
This course was designed to fulfill the regulations of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Students who successfully complete the course requirements are eligible for recommendation by the Head of School into the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia for registration as Division inch comprehensive registered nurses. Registration is subject to meeting all demands of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. To fulfill up with the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia students are anticipated to complete the course within 5 decades. Failure to complete the path at the allocated time period could require undertaking additional units to ensure currency of practice.
