Nursing

This class intends to offer students the in-depth awareness and skills needed to practise at an advanced level nursing amount and supply expert leadership in contemporary clinical and skilled nursing specialties. It is intended to build on the knowledge base and clinical skills of specialist nurses. The use of nurse practitioner puts particular focus on the creation of advanced clinical assessment skills relevant to this nurse's specialty, and evolution of a collaborative multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The program targets on this utilizing the Nurse and Midwifery Board of both Australia's Nurse Practitioner competencies.

The Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) is accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC). Supporters of the Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) might be eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). • A university post graduate Diploma eligibility in a nursing specialty area of training, or equivalent, and enrollment for a Division 1 nurse with all the Australian physician Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Applicants must be employed by an appropriate agency and also possess five or more years' post-registration knowledge in their specialty. Applicants must give evidence of service, as evidenced on their employer official letterhead, that their company will provide them with 500 hours of supervised clinical positioning and governance
• NB: Meeting minimum prerequisites will not guarantee that an offer of a place
• Entry into each of La Trobe courses relies on competitive selection and there could be limited places available.
