The intent of this program is to supply applicants that have an appropriate educational foundation with an opportunity to pursue research at masters degree level in a specialised field of college research studies. It's going to develop students' comprehension of a chosen field and expand this field through a contribution to knowledge. It comprises training in research procedures, development of a research proposal and a research thesis at a specialised field of tourism studies plus some prep units. Student consultation and assessment will permit a longer individual analysis program to be developed for students from different backgrounds. Aspects of university research in which could be undertaken comprise alpine tourism; Australasian tourism studies; tradition, events and meetings management; cultural and heritage tourism; urban and regional tourism development; nature-based tourism; tourism impact analysis; along with tourism catastrophe and disaster management. - The entry requirements of the class are: A. A level or honours level in tourism, or a honours level or level in a cognate area, together with an average grade of a credit or even better
- B. Proof of an ability for conducting research at the MA level
- Academic IELTS or equivalent of 6.5 with no band score below 6.0.
