Biological Chemistry

At the University of Stavanger, students will be part of an international research group working in the forefront of organelle biology, environmental adaptation of plants and microorganisms, and computational biology.

Students will acquire experience in various analytical techniques and research methods, and get training in the presentation of scientific results. The teaching often takes place in small groups where a professional dialogue is emphasized.

In order to be admitted to the MSc in Biological Chemistry a completed Bachelors??s degree within one of the following disciplines is a prerequisite:- Biological Chemistry- Molecular Biology- Biochemistry- Cell BiologyA solid knowledge of chemistry as well as biochemistry/molecular biology is necessary.English Language Requirements:- Test of English as a foreign language (ETS TOEFL?®) with a minimum score of 550 (paper based) or 80 (internet-based).- International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.0. - University of Cambridge exams: Certificate in Advanced English or Certificate of Proficiency in EnglishFor more information and a complete list of exemptions, please follow this link: www.uis.no/language
