Course Content

All of our Biomedical and Biomolecular Sciences degrees are divided into two phases:

  • Phase 1 (Stage 1 and semester 1 of Stage 2)
  • Phase 2 (semester 2 of Stage 2 and Stage 3)

Phase 1 provides a broad introduction to biomolecular sciences which is shared by all of our degrees. You can change between any of our degrees at the end of Phase 1 if you wish.

This flexible structure gives you the chance to try a broad range of topics, helping you to see where your interests lie before you specialise in biomedical sciences in Phase 2.

In Stage 4, you study modules at Master's level, though undergraduate fees and funding still apply for this final year.

Each Stage lasts for an academic year and you need to complete modules totalling 120 credits by the end of each Stage.
