This program allows students to gain an understanding of how the body works and what happens if ailments, diseases and clinical ailments happen. First-year studies include cell biology, chemistry, science research methods, human physiology and anatomy. Higher subjects include physiology, pathophysiology, biochemistry, microbiologyand molecular biology, immunology and pharmacology. Students can undertake placements in areas such as hospitalsand clinical trial centers and pharmaceutical companies and clinical research institutes. The class provides appropriate instruction for entry to postgraduate medical subjects.
- Year 12 or equivalent
- Year 1 2 English, Maths and one science subject (preferably Chemistry) are recommended.
