This program aims to provide students with skills suitable for employment as professional biostatisticians in medical and epidemiological research, the pharmaceutical industry and administration departments and bureaus. The application is designed to support students from a range of academic backgrounds and includes themes developed to supply the necessary bases in statistical and mathematical theory to people without a first degree in math or statistics. A compulsory theme in epidemiology introduces people new to research in public health to critical evaluation of the medical and health literature. Subjects educated underneath the Biostatistics app form a structured sequence and are not generally accessible to students taking different awards.
- Bachelor degree in a related area, such as statistics, math, biomedicine, psychology, mathematics, pharmacy, health sciences, and economics, by an approved university, with a mean mark of at least H2B (70 percent ) over the degree
- Successful completion (result of H3 or 65 percent ) at tertiary amount of a minumum of one math subject( comprising elements of multivariable calculus and linear algebra.
