There is currently a growing demand for assisted reproduction, which requires trained specialists in an area in which laboratory methods are a recent, and constantly evolving, development. Consequently the few degree programmes that cover the subject do not provide a knowledge level sufficient for professional practice.

This, combined with the international importance of our country within the field of biomedicine, has prompted biologists, pharmacists, veterinary doctors, and graduates in other related fields to express their interest in up-todate training, thus justifying the need for a postgraduate programme on the subject.

Career Opportunities
Work in assisted reproduction clinics, or laboratories conducting research into infertility and mother cells.

Objectives
The main goal of the Masters is to understand the mechanisms and techniques used in human reproduction, and

to gain knowledge and skills in assisted reproduction techniques and research applied to different situations in

treating human infertility.

Addressed to: Graduates in Biology and Veterinary Medicine, and related degrees like Pharmacy, Biochemistry...Admission: Although not essential, the following conditions will be considered: * Previous work experience; * Previous studies in the reproduction field (courses and research): * Academic records in the corresponding degree. * Applicants having completed their PhD thesis, degree dissertation, research papers or presentations submitted in conferences connected with the Master´s subject, or placements in the field of assisted reproduction in related specialities like Biochemistry or Pharmacy.
