This qualification reflects the use of construction surveyors or certifiers who employ knowledge of compliance requirements and structure procedures and substances to the execution of statutory construction surveying requirements or to the supply of judicial construction surveying services.The scope of work undertaken by construction surveyors changes across authorities and could include:providing code-consulting information to clients on the compliance requirements to proposed construction developmentsprocessing planning and construction applicationsconducting mandatory construction inspectionsauditing buildings and following upon regions of non-complianceissuing certificates of occupancy.Building surveyors require an understanding of relevant compliance requirements and of conventional, new and emerging structure procedures and substances. They produce a substantial contribution to the creation and construction of the built environment, often in collaboration with specialist consultants to examine and verify that suggested and precise building works are compliant and to make sure the security of construction occupants.Building surveyors work at a highly regulated environment and has to carry their role and according to legislative and regulatory requirements.Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements affect construction surveying in certain States. Relevant property and state regulatory authorities should be consulted to confirm all those requirements.
