Description
The content of the course mirrors the Sunderland-based equivalent course, with the same ethos, materials and approach. So you can gain the benefits of an education from our University without having to move to Sunderland.
The initial two years of the course cover the essentials of business and there are also options that include: Business Enterprise Management; Managing Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creativity.
In the final year you will undertake specialist modules in entrepreneurship, innovation and management consulting. Throughout the course there are modules that are specifically aimed at the softer skills of employability.
We encourage our students to undertake a year-long placement between the second and final years although its not compulsory. Its a great opportunity to put your learning into practice and to extend your experience.
At the end of the course youll graduate as a manager with not only a broad business education but also specific skills and knowledge in driving enterprises forward. The coursefosters risk management, creativity, and the ability to make things happen.
