Students will learn to analyse, design and construct complex business information systems with the use of advanced methods, toolsand hardware and applications. Students study a common core in business and major studies in business information systems. A business design job done in the final season is targeted at combining the theoretical and job experience aspects of the course. The course has the flexibility to finish a little, or electives from business or other areas to tailor studies according to individual career goals. This course comprises a compulsory work placement in third season. Students are responsible for obtaining their particular positioning, however, support is available to help with your search. Students who are unable to secure a positioning can move to some related 3 year business level.
Theme to project an approved pattern of work, the degree was accredited at professional membership level by the Australian Computer Society (ACS). The Society has mutual fund arrangements with pc societies from New Zealand, USA, Canada, UK, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Malaysia and Singapore. Furthermore, pupils may apply for ACS Accredited Professional (CP) status consequently gaining global recognition as an ICT professional.
